Lovely campsite friendly staff but Amelia’s restaurant is with missing. Food not good for the price. Evening meal of pie and potatoes and veg was awful no meat in the pie, potato hard and the veg was red cabbage nothing else. Also we went for breakfast. Food was cold before it got to us. So we’re the plates. Toast was hard as if it had been left out and it was white even though we asked for brown. Eggs were brown on the bottom where they were over cooked and the poached ones were stringy where the eggs were old. Spoke to a member of staff but they were totally uninterested. It spoilt the experience of the holiday for us and we wouldn’t recommend eating there again. It has almost put us of visiting at all.

Had 4 nights at cofton and our pitch was a hard standing down by the fishing lakes, when we got down to our pitch the electric wasn't working, we'd paid for it online so it would be all ready when we arrived but unfortunately it wasn't so had to ring reception and they had to manually sort it out. The location of our pitch was lovely it was looking onto the lakes but if your after a good night's sleep with a lie in in the morning go the other end of the site as there's alot of Canadian geese and they are sooooo noisy ! They were blooming evil aswell ! They chased me and one even flew at my head !!! Although I think it was just me they didn't like as they were fine with everyone else! The site is very clean but they need to show where the drinking water taps are as it's a bit hard to search around when your in a motorhome and you need to fill your tank up!. There's a chippy onsite, fishing shop, outdoor pool, arcade, indoor pool, shop, bar with evening entertainment and bar/ restaurant upstairs, we had a meal there but I wouldn't recommend it. It's very expensive and you don't get that much of a portion size. I don't think there's much on the main menu for the evening either, I had southern fried chicken burger, chips, and coleslaw that was £14, mum was looking at getting some cheesy chips but changed her mind when she saw they were £7.50 ! The entertainment was pretty good as there was bingo at 7.30 and I even won £109, and after they did a quiz If you like fishing then this site is perfect, all around the lakes are kept clean and tidy and they are well stocked
