I had heard a lot of good things about this place, but for me, it was just a bit average. The food and getting on the table wasn't the best. The food lacked a certain punch to set it apart from other Portuguese. My sons chicken wasn't fully cooked and came out a long time after my other sons. The staff were friendly and helpful though and the atmosphere good. It may be that the kitchen staff need a bit of assistance with timing but the excuse "the food is cooked fresh and it isn't fast food" shouldn't be why meals come out at different times and varying degrees of cooked. A fresh cooked meal can be cooked and all in one go.

What a hidden gem in Upnor! The food was absolutely amazing. We tried a range of small plates and a main, and couldn't fault any of it. The Sangria was also very nice. No room for dessert unfortunately.

My boyfriend and myself had a meal there last night. Although we did not prebook, we were made welcome and had a table soon. Our shared meal ribyesteak with a sauce, salad and sweet potato chips was excellent. Absolutely full of flavours, the meat cooked perfectly. What a culinary gem this restaurant is in Medway. Not mentioning our waiter who was helpful, very friendly. Great place to enjoy a meal. Thank you to the chef and all the staff. Vegetarian options: We did not have a vegetarian meal. Parking: Free parking and easy to park
