Booked a birthday brunch on Sunday. After arriving before guests we were told that the coffee machine was broken and the staff behaved very odd in terms of service. We decided to change the place but were billed for the water 😅 Don't know why the rating is high: the overall look is very different from the photos, the place looked slightly shabby and there was no music (which is a bad sign always). Could not say anything about the food, but experience has a bad aftertaste: will not be back, will not recommend

ROTTEN EXPERIENCE on 8th May. Rude host. Angry chef. Snotty eggs. (To name a few) I did contact Cocette privately to politely inform them of our experience, hoping for a response or an explanation but unfortunately no one has bothered to reply. Shame. Vegetarian options: We ordered the eggs without bacon, but arrived with bacon, was sent back, the chef’s approach was to huff, peel off the bacon and return to our table.

Had a really bad experience at Cocotte from the start to finish, arrived and was given a dirty table with the previous persons drink, the restaurant was not busy but the deliveries was and the staff was just focused on that rather then the tables, I asked to order and was given a wrong dish and the bread we ordered was missing. We cut into the one quarter of the chicken and it was very pink and we said that this chicken is not cooked and the waitress just did not have a clue and was going what do you mean and we said we are not eating this and can we have a replacement quarter which never came, we started eating the other quarter as we was really hungry where towards the end bits found again the chicken to be pink and the waitress again did not know how to deal with the situation, we refused to pay for the chicken and the service as both was terrible. I work in the hospitality industry and manage a brunch cafe where we get slammed on deliveries especially on weekends but we always put the customers who made the effort to come to our venue, we actually earn more profit this way as we don’t have high commissions and packaging costs and the staff earn more from the service charge. Shame as the sides were tasty but how it was handled and leaving to go and eat somewhere else after paying £57 is just a joke!
