The sofa arrived with a fault or tear in the fabric, various threads sticking out, scuffed fabric, and the sides didn't match. Overall, the quality was very poor for the price of the sofa [over £2,700]. I said that it wasn't of merchantable quality and to either give me a massive discount or a full refund. They offered £65 discount which was insulting, when I had spent over £2,700, so I went with the full refund. They managed to pick the sofa up within three days, but it's over a week and I'm still waiting for the refund. The men who picked the sofa up had a bad attitude and moaned that it was inconvenient when I made them take their shoes off as we have new carpets and they had not brought shoe covers. What is actually inconvenient is having no sofa and not being able to order a new one as Cocoon have our money. They did not start processing the refund until we hassled them up after waiting 5 days. So we're looking at a 2 weeks from the sofa being removed to receiving the refund. The sofa is generally cheaply made. If it had cost £1000 to £1300 I'd probably have kept it, knowing that in a few years I 'd get another one, but for £2.5k I expect it to last a decade and a Cocoon sofa really won't.

I ordered a foot rest 3 months ago (5th Aug 2022) with this company. 1. It took over 2 months to deliver original foot rest (Lead time on website = 28 days) 2. Foot rest was delivered on 17th Oct but completely incorrect. Wrong colour / style and height to what was ordered. 3. Re-delivery planned Sunday 6th Nov, never showed up… Very disappointing service.

Review (and rating) isn't about their sofas but, for their showroom. As advertise on their website, it is a virtual tour, which I didn't understand at first when I booked to visit. Get your phone on as you will be called at the time of your visit. This because to get in you'll need a long password for the entrance door to open. Once you reach the Cocoon showroom, you'll see all their sofas in different colours. Which is why you go there really. There will be somebody there to help you with every question you may have, but this person will be on a TV screen. Only there I realised what they meant with "virtual tour"! This is not my thing, but this is a question of taste. Not huge deal. You can seat on the sofas, open them, lay on them too, and that's perfect. Then you can even choose the fabric and colour, as you can't really understand the colour through your computer screen. You need to memorise name of the colour and name of the fabric as you will need those when you'll order your sofa online... yes, because in the showroom you won't be able to order anything. They do not sell anything in the showroom. It is just an expo for you to see and make up your mind. I personally do not think this is a good policy as by the time the customer gets back home, he may have changed his mind or just say "I'll order it later on". I went to the showroom 2 weeks ago and still haven't ordered it. I'm not saying I won't buy it, but it may take some time? Well, I hope that's just me and that other potential customers that go to the showroom buy their sofa once back home, as sofas seems really to be comfortable.

There is no warranty on these sofa beds. When I asked they said because they 100% trust in the quality. Fast forward 8 months of having one and stitching is coming out - not good enough for the ridiculous price. Cheaper and better sofa beds out there that also don't take up so much wasted space.
