We heard about Barkingham Palace/ Cockerville from various friends and took the plunge when there were some Working Cocker Spaniel puppies available. The care that Ben, Su and Sid showed to all their dogs, the kennels and to us was outstanding. We couldn’ t have been more looked after, with no pushy sales pitches or tales of people queuing up to buy the puppies. Once we saw them it was always going to end up with a new addition to our family. We were able to spend as much time as we needed with them, we chose one, made many visits over the next few weeks and after returning from holiday Dudley came home with us. He has been a star. Easy to house train, has slept through the night since night 3, is inquisitive, friendly, healthy and full of energy. He is now fully vaccinated, wormed etc and loves going out on small walks, playing with his toys and generally learning lots of new things. We have crates him from day one, which allows him to have an own space and quiet time away from the hussle of family life. I can’t stress enough how important this has been for him and the end result is he rarely whines or barks. He is nearly 5 months old, eating three times and day on raw meat and kibble which Ben kindly orders in for us. We can’t wait for the rain to stop and for Dudley to join us up on the downs once he is old enough to explore for longer periods of time. Thank you and we would thoroughly recommend at least visiting Ben, Su and Sid, they won’t disappoint 🐶🐶

It’s been two months now since we collected our baby from Ben & Sue. One of the first litter of working cocker spaniels. Our boy is intelligent, quick to learn, eager to please and gentle. We wouldn’t be without him now.
