If I could give this place 0 stars I would. this place is so many things and helpful and supportive and healing is definitely not any of them. the small picu is horrific and traumatic and I still experience flashbacks to this day. If you or anyone you know is going here ask to be transferred to anywhere but here. Stay safe, you’ve got this

It was a good place, the staff were nice especially the therapists. The timetable was good and I liked following it, education was also great. Everyone cared about me alot. I had to move to a different hospital but I really wished I could have stayed longer. When I first went in I hated it so much and felt just like all of the other reviews did, but after spending a few weeks I started loving it. PS. Shelly (teacher) and Jyothi (OT) deserve a pay rise

The workers are too emotionally involved so that all their views, feelings and social inadequacies must seep into their treatment of patients. They can’t just do their job; they always got to prove something, one or the other. A lot of unprofessional staff imo.

Was an awful place. Was admitted when I was 13 and gave me trauma since. The staff are disgusting towards to their patients and pressure them into situations which slow their recovery and make them uncomfortable.

Wasn't much to do during free time bad food not much food choice if your lactose intolerance fixated on giving medication and not actually helping patients

Was admitted here for 9 months, very bad experience. Staff clearly don’t know how to help kids, sometimes take advantage of their vulnerability. No idea why this place is still open.

The Acute ward is absolutely terrible. A lot of the staff do not seem to care and may as well just be sleeping on the job. They will say triggering things that anyone with common sense would know not to say infront of other patients that are already struggling enough on the ward. If you have a concern or any issues about the ward that you would like to be resolved, don’t bother asking the staff… they will create all kinds of excuses. -Admitted for 2 months.

Dreadful place should be closed down.... Untrained staff who seem completely clueless looking after vulnerable children ... Visiting times are not consistent....depends on staff... Heavy handed when restraining....
