Have used this company several times, the first time was for a pair of re-conditioned engines a good number of years ago, still going strong. Can’t recommend this company highly enough!!

My recent experience was the 2nd time I’ve used Coastal Rides. First was a while back when a gearbox went on my Princess 33. I dread to think what new retail £ would be. A replacement ‘box was supplied for £400 and used for 5 years before I sold the boat. V Happy. This summer (2022) the fly-by-wire controllers went on my Sealine 43. Coastal were moving warehouses at the time but searched and searched through hundreds of pallets. They found one controller, and continued to look for the 2nd one. Just before I had to order a new one at £2k , Coastal found the 2nd one too. Phew !!! The 2 Controllers are working fine at an equipment cost of £400 vs. New £4,000 retail. Put your trust in the Coastal Rides team. In my experience they will not let you down, and the pricing is fair too. 5* all the way.

Kein Preisbachlass ...kein Rücksendeformular....nichts.... beides als bei gekauft und beide sind definitiv gebraucht und irgendwo eingebaut gewesen....mit Zoll 800€ für die Katz... Gaunerei...nie mehr.... Lehrgeld bezahlt

Last year (2020) my 91 year old mother passed away but left enough in her will to buy a boat. I had seen a lovely Aquabell 33 in Ipswich advertised in FAFB but on Wednesday before the Saturday I had booked to view it, the seller phoned me to say he had sold it. Oh well, it was not to be. I found an Aquafish 28 on the same site and phoned the seller Coastal Rides and Paul and I spoke at great length about the boat and although £30k more than the much older Aquabell I asked Paul if he would take it off the market if I put a 10% deposit on it as I didn't want further disappointments and he agreed. I went with my wife on a very cold day in February and fell in love with the boat. Paul is a lovely guy and the more we spoke and as an astute businessman the more I came to like the guy. It turned out he was born in my home town of Rochford Essex. Anyway, I insured the boat, booked a marina berth in Tollesbury and set about sending him the full remaining £63k in tranches over a couple of weeks. He delivered the boat to the marina in Tollesbury included in the price. He left reserve fuel on the boat, he lifted it prior to delivery, serviced it all, got a local signwriter to add its name "Lady Wendela", provided all fishing tackle even though I have my own. Built in December 2018, the boat came with Raymarine Radar, charts, sonar, fish finder, automatic Anchor, bow thruster, VHF, cooker, fridge, all ropes, fenders etc etc etc, microwave, toilet, basin, shower tray and I am her first private owner. Powered by a Volvo Penta D4 260 with duoprop. Paul turned buying a boat from an unpleasant chore with pitfalls to an enjoyable experience and I am grateful that I met and dealt with him and his wife's business. For me, I could not go wrong, so thanks Paul and all at Coastal Rides Ltd.

Genuinely one of the most helpful companies I have ever used. Doing a modification to my sail drive to change the engine from a MD5 to a 2002. I ordered a female splined coupling as a start point, got a call from Paul at Coastal Rides and ended up with all the bits I needed to perform the modification. Saved me a lot of time and money with his follow up call. Will definitely use the company again
