Co-op located close to university campus offering all the usual with good staff so no complaints there. What I do have an issue with is receiving a parking ticket for £100 when I used their shop last week. The car park at the front of the building was full of vehicles whose owners were not customers whilst myself and several of my colleagues who are genuine customers were forced to park on the approach road to the side where we were targeted by opportunistic parking attendants. This is highly predatory behaviour and CO-OP should resolve this by sorting out their customer parking. We have begun to boycott this store until this is sorted out so come on guys and pull your socks up on this please!

I had to do a job in this coop on Curzon street university campus and now find I’ve been charged for entering the low emissions zone as it’s around 50 to 100 yards inside the zone so please be careful, I asked the manager if I was inside the zone and he told me no as I hadn’t passed the camera which was true so thought no more of it until today when I received a £120 fine reduced to £60 if paid within 14 days. I’m not happy but what can I do. Highway robbery.

Co-ops offer a pretty good experience with generally well-priced food of sound cereal quality: this one too. It had a tricky start, opening in what should be a considerable 'student area' round the start of the universities' lockdown. It has soldiered through and we should look to even better shopping there if the world lets its customer base enlarge and diversity.

It has a good layout and not cramped for space during the Covid season. The store promotes its self-service checkout, as you will rarely find a staff at the till, even the security guard is more helpful in terms of customer service as there's no staff ready to help at the self service.
