I'm a local so this is my regular store, shop itself is pretty decent has all the essentials you need and most of the staff are great and helpful. There is however one member Andy I believe who is ruining it for the store. He's quite rude and he looks at you like you've done something wrong and he's watching you. Need a new manager to be honest this guy needs the sacking. I've read a few other reviews saying the same and it's completely true

I've recently moved into the area and this is my local store, l've had great experiences with co-ops previously with staff and managers being beyond amazing. Overall the staff are very friendly and helpful. The store is unfortunately let down by the terrible management! The manager- I believe his name is Andy- seems to be an utter racist. Walking into the store, you expect to be greeted kindly by the management and the team however the complete opposite happens here. He looks down on people as if they are peasants and as if he holds a power over the customers. He tends look at customers of colour and different ethnicities like we have personally attacked him before even shopping in the store. If you want to shop with ease and in an comfortable welcoming environment AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

My experience was very negative I think the manager is racist, i do not say this lightly but it’s what happened, he just totally totally ignored me when I needed assistance, he has a look of disgust on his face every time I shop at the CO OP , I don’t know what his problem is , he make me very uncomfortable I won’t be shipping there again neither will my family and friends and there families and friends even tho it was very convenient for me to do so it’s just that one person I think he name badge was Andy he is very unprofessional.

The manager (ANDY) is rood and abrupt, i was 1st in the cue to be served he totally disregarded me and welcomed the lady behind me to be served, and then insulted me after that by saying (your not waiting for me are you) and proceeded to call me (STRANGE) and on top of that refusing to allow me to make a complaint about his very poor conduct and rood unprofessional remarks. I hate to say it but unless Andy has a problem with males, I have reason to believe I was personally attacked because my ethnicity.

Good, Clean kept store. a little more expensive than the close-by Tesco, (but for convenience, its ok). its a shame that waiting for a member of staff to attend the checkouts when you require more than from a self-service till spoils the whole experience. (i recently left my groceries on the check out till and left the store, as i wasn't prepared to wait any longer, when staff are chatting to each other elsewhere in the store)

Quiet, clean and they stock a good range of products including vegan/plant based options. Easy self scan checkout system in place. I prefer to the nearby Tesco which is always chaotic by comparison and is awful to park your car in. Similar prices for the items that I usually buy.
