We searched high and low for our Son's first car, little did we know there was one right on our doorstep, trying to find a 1.0 litre cc at a reasonable price, was so hard to find. CMC had a great selection of small cars on arrival Ideal for first time driving all great value and condition. We picked the car we wanted and service we received was outstanding, professional courteous and extremely swift even went the extra mile to provide assistance to our needs. Before I start, can not fault Andy, a great genuine guy. Bought a Ford KA for my daughter who has a 4 year old. After 2 days of purchase, the car wouldn't start we had to jump it a number of times. Took it back to CMC after 5 days and they thought it was the battery, they did replace it and the car was ok for a further 4 days. It then wouldn't start again and my daughter was left stranded quite late at night. We took it back again and CMC took it in and did another "repair". On collection the power steering system stopped working on the motorway, the car was juddering and making the most horrendous noise I've ever heard. After all this and less than 2 weeks from purchase we had lost all confidence in the vehicle and took it back requesting a refund, the safety of my daughter and granddaughter were paramount. Andy was extremely understanding of the situation, Craig however not so. All I can say is after a fight and Craig becoming quite arrogant and to be fair, extremely rude considering he'd sold us an inadequate car we did get a refund. I would avoid this dealership based on Craig and him alone, he has absolutely no comprehension on customer service, shame on him.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Brother in law bought a car earlier this week from here and in less than 24 hours the engine light came on and was juddering. Called up to explain and they said to bring it in and fix it. Brought it to them after driving 100 miles there and back, fixed it and said it was solved. I asked if the 3 month warranty can be extend politely, not demanding but simply whether its an option and was responded to with such rudeness. They gave all the excuses that garages wouldn't open early to fix it and pay for it to be fixed (even though it was purchased within 3 days and has a 3 month warranty). I asked if paying for petrol as compensation for a fault within 24 hours was an option which was responded to even worse with the owner saying 'don't take the car then, leave it here and we'll give you your money back'. At no point was I frustrated or demanding anything, just asked questions. They made no attempt to put us at ease with the fact we bought a car that had broken within hours of purchase and instead just got defensive and spoke to me disgustingly. I would highly suggest that everyone go else where, I dread to think of how they'd have spoken to me (young woman) without my brother in law present. Awful customer service and never been treated like this by a business.

We purchased a car for our son, it developed a couple of faults. Our son as a new driver lost confidence in the car and although Craig and Andy were fully prepared to repair the car we requested a refund. The refund was seamless and the customer service was excellent. I would highly recommend this garage as even when the car goes wrong they are more than happy to put right or refund with no fuss.
