We arrived and berthed in Greenock today on the 4th July. It was really lovely to be greeted by a lone piper and his 'Wee Friend'. On departure there was a small piping band, again with the 'dancing man' which gave us a rousing farewell. They were outstanding, especially as the Ventura was delayed because of illness. If you heard the pipers and the warm response the ships guests gave them in the form of clapping and cheering you could understand how welcoming Scotland was to us. Thank you all, especially our sail away band for making our trip to Scotland so enjoyable
