After filing a complaint about my vehicle towards the end of the year, the company initially showed cooperation in addressing the faulty issues. However, upon receiving my car back, I discovered that there were still unresolved problems. Despite my attempts to reopen the case through numerous emails to the complaint department over nearly two months, as well as numerous calls to the complaints team with promises of callbacks (only to be hung up on), I am extremely frustrated by the company's avoidance and unprofessional behavior. It seems they are unwilling to engage with me and are leaving me to deal with the problem on my own. This has pushed me to contact the ombudsman to escalate the matter, as I am tired of trying to communicate with someone who repeatedly tells me the same false promise of receiving a call back.

Do not get car finance with this firm I bought a caddy van with there finance the van broke down on me twice I told the business I did not want the van and I want a full refund the owner threatened me on the phone and told me to ring the finance company and we will go to court I rang the finance company and they investigated my claim the finance company said because I did not record my phonecalls with the company I bought the van off they could not do anything about the claim basically it is there word against mine now iam stuck with an unreliable van and 5000 pounds of finance. Please do yourself a favour and avoid this company like the plague there are loads of other ways to get finance just don't use close brothers.

Avoid .. disappointing customer service and support I purchased a car from a Kia franchise using close brothers motor finance 24mths ago big mistake .. after 17mths I had an issue with the car ,weeks spent in the garage for repair and then broke down again now doesn't start.. contacted Close brothers via online portal twice ... 4/5 weeks for any response told to call (actually got through) they wanted me to provide evidence that the car was faulty on purchase ?? gave me an email address to send photo's of my vehicle to collections department if I wanted to go down that route. Emailed photo's to collections no reply but complaint was closed after a couple of weeks as I had not provided any evidence of fault .. sent invoices for the repairs from the garage to the complaint handlers email address heard nothing .... I then decided to write a letter to the head office regarding this matter asking for help again no reply !!! I again recently contacted them through the online portal as I am coming to the half way point of my finance and unable to keep paying for a car sat on my drive not working and want to know my termination rights as I would like to return the vehicle with no adverse affect on my credit rating or further expense for repairs due to amount already spent!!! and 2 weeks later still no reply ! I just want help to get this sorted now as this has been ongoing for months now!!!

Shockingly bad. Complaints won’t call you back and never answers the phone. Had an ongoing dispute for almost 6 months. They have no desire to get my complaint sorted out.
