My boyfriend and I had a great morning with Jamie learning to trad climb at Hound Tor. Jamie was a great guide who explained everything really well and answered any questions we had. We both feel like we learnt a lot of great skills and had a lovely morning out at the crag! We would love to do another course with Jamie in the future!

From the booking process all the way through to the final day of climbing Jamie was an absolute star. He is knowledgeable, patient, enthusiastic and very safe. We had two full days on two separate tors and went from learning the very basics of trad climbing, to attempting some quite difficult climbs with Jamie offering advice, encouragement and expertise throughout. I would thoroughly recommend Climb Devon and what it is set up to do.

As a complete novice, I signed up for a 2 day Rock Climbing Introduction. The weekend course was wisely postponed on two occasions due to bad weather. Once it eventually happened, the days were full but fab and fun! Jamie is an excellent, knowledgable teacher, great at communication (beforehand, during and afterwards) and professional at all times. If you are looking for an intensive intro to climbing, I highly recommend you book a course with Climb Devon. You will not be disappointed!

I had an excellent 2-day introduction to climbing with Jamie. He has a calm and friendly approach and explains everything clearly and simply. He helped me to progress at my own pace and I feel I have learnt the essentials that will get me out climbing more. I felt safe 100% of the time. I would highly recommend anyone, at any level of ability, to use Climb Devon to gain climbing experience and further their skills. Thanks Jamie!
