Scammed us into doing photo shoot and ridiculously charged even after wasting several hours... They take good pictures but before you book, ensure that you have the price list else you'll pay through your teeth, then it took them months to get the pictures delivered

‘Competition’ advert - a total scam!! An advert popped up to win a free pet photoshoot with them, so I put my family dog down, and was contacted the next day that he won it (happy days, right?). I should’ve known it was no competition when all they asked for was contact details and the name of the pet, no photo or anything. But I honestly and stupidly thought they were trying to promote their studio by doing a competition, and getting some good photos of a cute pet that they can also use for advertising. They called me countless times afterwards pushing me to book the appointment, even after I’ve paid the deposit. Eventually I booked it. On the day there were other pets being photographed and one of their owners mentioned that her dog won this in a competition which was a massive red flag but we were already in the middle of it all. Basically, as other reviews have mentioned, if you want any of the digital photos it costs an arm and a leg. I don’t think these people realise that a photoshoot without getting the photos is an absolute waste of time. Most of the photos were average and terribly edited (oversaturated, colours changed into oblivion etc). Apparently we will eventually get one minuscule print but that was it. Also, another big thing is that you have to make your decision on the spot, what photos you want if any, otherwise they said they’ll delete all the photos the moment you leave. Most studios would give them covered in copyright so at least you can show them to your family and then decide if you want to keep one or not. Waste of time, pushy sales team and they base this whole scam on pure emotional blackmail (hence why they offer this ‘prize’ to pet owners). It’s a disgusting scam out of principle anyway, but adding those extortionate prices to it all makes it simply shocking. Poor sales strategy as pet photos only costs them an hour and a half out of their time (no hair or makeup) and they can promote their services to the owners by showing them that they can be good. They’re not even good but I guess they know that hence why they’re trying to scam everyone!

I really enjoyed attending Clifton photographic studio, I felt very comfortable and very relaxed while getting my makeup and hair done by Ruth I believe and the outcome was amazing. The photoshoot for my tattoos was also an amazing time and experience I would love to do it again as this was my second time attending Clifton photographic studio. I felt very comfortable when taking the photos and I was definitely out of my comfort zone but it was an experience to remember and would definitely do it again. When seeing the outcomes of the photos I was taken back of how incredible they came out to look, was definitely hard for me to choose what photos I would like. I am very happy with my experience and felt that I left feeling sexy and confident within myself. Look forward to coming again in the future and do a family photoshoot next time.

Went to Clifton photographic company for a family shoot with our 5 month old and couldn't fault the service! They're the perfect cross of professional and chatty and made us feel at ease! We had the most warm welcome from Jack before both Alice and Meg gave the most amazing photoshoot for us and Hazel was the perfect guide during our viewing, helping us pick the most perfect photos and providing great cost effective purchases for our budget! I highly recommend the lovely friendly staff and the experience as a whole! Definitely worth every second and every penny!
