I had seen some good reviews of The York Roast and convinced my wife and daughter to try it. We ordered to eat in and took are box's upstairs. It's a bit basic and quirky with slopping floors. I've included a picture of my beef dinner as I was shocked at what was served as roast beef. It was a lump of fat and sinues with cold over cooked vegetables and potatoes. The only good thing I can say about it was the gravey was nice and warmed up the Yorkshire pudding. I brought it back downstairs and was given a replacement with some nicer looking thin cut beef but the same over cooked vegetables and potatoes. I'm afraid I just can't recommend it. My wife had ham and daughter the turkey and said their meat was fine but everything else was cold and over cooked.
