    Stay well away from these guys! I had landlord insurance policy with direct line, the claim was forwarded to DAS legal, from the first moment I knew they would be cowboys. My policy stated I was eligible for landlord rental cover incase tenant did not pay and I was eligible for legal expenses ( both of which I paid extra for). I was given the run around with different case handlers for 2 weeks before finally having my case reviewed. I followed up with Josie Collins who told me that all documents were received and satisfactory, but that I should wait a week before making the claim as legally the tenant is allowed a month to pay up. A week passed and I called up to proceed with the claim and I was given the run around every time I tried to speak to Josie Collins (she's out for lunch/she has IT issues and can not come to the phone) eventually I spoke to another handler who told me my claim was not eligible because the tenant failed affordability checks DESPITE a professional tenancy report passing the tenant (the tenant had no CCJs and no missed payments prior). I was told I could appeal the decision, despite written evidence being clear that checks were done. When I stated the obvious that my policy documents mentioned nothing regarding affordability checks I was instantly locked out of my direct line account I had been given the run around to the point I had cancelled my policy and wanted nothing to do with these chancers. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

    Beyond incompetent! If I could give zero stars I would, had an accident and my insurance company placed me with these idiots ! After 3 years of wasting my time I was forced to discontinue my claim. I had so many staff who leave continuously unsurprisingly. Raised 3 formal complaints against them - all of which they upheld ! Really wouldn’t have any faith in the company.

    As previous reviewer 1 star is too many .What an incompetent firm DAS law are, appointed by NFU and unfortunately appointed an associate instead of a solicitor. They totally misunderstood my case and spent months and months going over the same ground getting nowhere. I put the case to Legal Ombudsman and guess what they sided with this terrrible firm. I had spent so much time evidencing everything what a complete waste of time this has been. How does this firm continue? I notice they never put a reply to these reviews .

I found DAS very professional and on point with the two cases that they have looked after for me . And this gives me a chance to put it out there ,,, I have never come across a person in a professional industry who is so DEDICATED to their work and that be Luwi Henderson.
