I came to the store in Hull about a month ago to purchase a bike on the cycle to work scheme. The sales guy Josh was amazing, i choose a bike LIV avail AR 1 and was told they would order it in..I was told I could not have it at the price advertised 1599.00 as I was purchasing it on the cycle to work scheme. Which is totally misleading. I came to collect the bike and it had a chip so i refused to take away the bike. Josh again helpful as ever and kindly said they would order a new one and to collect when it arrived. Josh went over and beyond to help with the sale. I collected my bike. 27/5/23 The bike has a blemish on the paint work. Disappointed, yes! This purchase is 1799.00 it should be immaculate! I questioned this in front of the shop manager and Josh to be told rudely by the shop manager they would not order another bike in and that all bikes have imperfections?!!! I was most upset how I was spoken to and to be honest at this point wanted to walk away from the sale. If it wasn't for Josh I would of done. I feel like my concern was made to be my problem and I have purchased a bike that clearly has imperfections and that should have been addressed with the supplier or taken up with LIV. 1799.00 for an imperfect bike, Acceptable? Would I recommend Cliff Cycles? Certainly not. The shop manager has no customer care skills, didn't care and clearly isn't interested in helping his customers. Sent from Outlook for Android

Review update 14 May 23 2 years after I started using Cliff Pratts for servicing/repairs/upgrades and buying my latest bike, I have to say that Rod & his team have never let me down. Superb advice, endless patience even when my DIY attempts go awry and always great value for money. The latest upgrade work done on my newest bike resulted in it feeling better than it ever has, I am over the moon with it. Chapeau Rod & team, keep up the great work and to us all:" Support our bike shops, we need them and they need our custom! Use them don't lose them ! I’ve used most bike shops in Hull over the years but this is my first visit to Cliff Pratt’s. In these odd COVID days everything seems a bit tense but when I asked Tom for some advice on cycle computers he and his colleague went the extra mile to explore the options open to me. I usually research things in greater depth but in this case due to the time and effort the lads put into solving my problem, I took their advice and made my purchase. Well stocked shop , staffed by knowledgeable, polite , helpful staff - 5 stars from me

Needed to repair the freewheel on an old bike for a family member, identified the Park Tool, part, however this item now very difficult to source, placed order on the web with Cliff Pratt Cycles on Wednesday, they advised store closed on Wednesdays but item would be dispatched Thursday and it arrived this Friday morning 1st class delivery!
