Recently stayed again for our 2nd time, first time in the Micro Lodge and then in the Holiday Home 2. Micro Lodge was very small as expected but perfect for a couple , we also had a 8 year old and a dog and was fine. Holiday Home is perfect for a family of 4, plenty of space etc. Overall I would definitely recommend and visit again on both occasions the accommodation was perfect and just as advertised.

So disappointing!! Firstly the micro lodge is not big enough for 4 people and all their belongings, there is very little storage space! When we entered the lodge we were shocked at the state of the floor, filthy with hairs and dust. The floor is damaged, we went out and bought a mop, where do you think water is going when people are coming in from the hot tub for a shower? Thankgod for sliders! The fridge was unstable and had a live bug in it! Not to mention how loud it is on a night. The t.v remote was disgusting and t.v was rubbish (no Netflix). The bed and sofa are so uncomfortable it’s unreal, the sofa is damaged underneath and not fit to sit on never mind sleep on! The bedding was filthy with hairs and stains but luckily we fetched extra blankets and pillows. There is a drainage smell that travels through the lodge which isn’t pleasant. The table and chairs feel like they’re going to collapse. There was old food left in the sink plug hole and watered down washing up liquid along side a dirty dish cloth. There was dirty finger prints on light switches, does the cleaner not know about cross contamination? We tried ringing 2 numbers provided and one was unrecognizable and the other never got answered! We never saw anyone on-site to speak to. We’re not ones to make a fuss and tried to make the best of our holiday but we ended up spending most of our time out of the lodge exploring. We booked this break for the new year for 7 days, we left after 4!! Definitely not worth what we paid and 100% DO NOT recommend, even the hot tub couldn’t save this place!

Myself & my partner came down for a short stay in this lovely park, loved the lodge and the hospitality was great. Had an issue with our shower which was quickly rectified. Hot tub is fantastic. So clean and gives you all the essentials you need. Cannot recommend enough! Love this place. Will definitely be back :) xx

Booked Regency lodge as a surprise for my wife for our wedding anniversary only to get a call from hoseasons 2 days before saying the park had cancelled our booking so they could so maintenance. No alternative on the park was offered and the next day it was advertising the lodge we booked for the weekend they cancelled. Not happy and won't book here again.

Lodges are spotless, bare minimum eg. Double bed already made up, only 1 pillow each, sofa bed, new kitchen units, we had no tin opener, but bought one and left it, only a dust pan and brush for sweeping the floors, tea coffee milk, supplied to get you started until you go shops, hot tub was set up already to get in, no site office, you have to ring a mobile number if you want anything, very quite site, which is ace for a great chill out few days, no shop on site , but Yarm and Stokesley not too far with a short drive, beautiful villages to visit, Whitby only 50 mins away for a day out, overall a fab four days chilling.
