Allow extra time as lots of unexpected delays, very busy court on 3 levels, be prepared to walk up the stairs. I found the usher lady was extremely overwhelmed but still helpful.

Why is there an option to give 1 STAR as the lowest? A 1 star for this Court and it's practices (or lack of) is actually a credit to them. I have been waiting for my Order for Possession for over 4 months now and in those 4 months, I have chased and chased and chased until my wit's end and guess what? To no avail. So ironic that we as User's and Claimants HAVE to be prompt with timing and meeting deadlines. If delayed by one day then a claim can easily be struck out which then (surprise surprise) costs more money to reinstate. But, the Court and the staff/representatives/back office staff have absolutely no respect nor consideration whatsoever for the timeline that we may be on ourselves! Double standards across the whole board. We have written in. We have emailed. We have phoned in. I personally have been on hold most mornings for near enough 2 hours. When someone does answer, they put me on hold to open their system and when they go to retrieve our call, the line will cut off with no-one calling back despite my number being given to them. This has happened on numerous occasions. We have adhered to all their published timelines and considered it (obviously we have no option otherwise). Yet, still no response. The only way to get Tenants out is via the Courts' system. The Courts' system can take up to a year (even more in some cases) for a straightforward possession claim. No responses in between when asked. So what are we honestly supposed to do??? Worst system in the world by a country mile!

Absolutely disgraceful service made two urgent calls relating to a hearing due to Rail strikes with hearing on the 9 January. First call 3 January, after 29 minutes holding they cut me off, sent an email - their reply - They stated it will taken up to 15 days to respond. Phoned again on 4th January kept me waiting 59 minutes, gave up sent another urgent email, same stock response, 15 days before they reply. The court expects us to be on time with responses but this court has not got any facilities to talk to the court or at least get a response to an urgent matter, disgraceful that we have to put up with this type of service. Since then have written two registered letters to the court issuing complaints that the claimants filed their statements late despite the judge issuing fixed dates and times for these to be filed, nothing was done about these late filings nor did we receive any replies from the court. What is the point of issuing a court order when they are ignored?

The people working in this court are absolutely disgusting. They have been ignoring all my emails and calls for over 4 months and then struck out my case for the court hearing which took over 1 year to get. So they make thieves get away with stealing money from innocent civillians who wait over a year for a court hearing only to struck it out. I visited the court a few times and the receptionist always has this stinking attitude and not friendly at all. Disgusting court and staff!!!

As a solicitor who regularly represents clients' at the Clerkenwell and Shoreditch County Court, over time I have found the customer service desk extremely helpful and impressive. Most recently, after a hearing, I was well assisted by Darshana who ensured my requests were met accordingly.

Their organization with paper work is terrible you'll pay money and they'll say you didn't. It's a money grabbing business only and not a place of justice.

They never bothered sending any correspondence to me. I’ve found out my hearing date only after emailing them. Paying for a hearing is an absolute nightmare!! Cannot be paid online, only over the phone and no one ever picks up!!

I have read the reviews about this Court, and felt so disgusted that so many people have been dissatisfied with the service, that I'm going to put down a something that you can do about it! - read on... there is a form that you can download from the HMCS website which is EX343A, and that handles complaints about the Court Service.
