We stayed 2 nights as we had a wedding in town. Staff is nice, room is pretty , well decorated, has everything you need , room was warm / hot , no aircon in case this is a must for you, it would have been difficult to stay in proper summer time, there's a small fan provided fyi. We highly recommend a stay at Clementine's Town House. Firstly we had a warm welcome from Cheryl and Cameron on arrival. They helped to allocate us a room which might be best suited for a light sleeper and showed us to our room. The rooms are beautifully furnished, stylish and bathroom looked brand new. We had a good night's sleep and were also very happy with the breakfast we ordered. Breakfast was well organised - you completed a breakfast card the night before so the chef could make your breakfast to order. The standard of breakfast was high. We have already booked another stay when next in York!

Lovely little boutique style hotel, room was snug and comfortable. Staff where friendly and very accommodating. Any issues where resolved very quickly. Location is great in a quiet area of York, but not too far from the centre. Highly recommended.

Rooms: The location is really good and quiet, the room was huge, it was more like an entire apartment(bar the kitchen;))The bathroom was really lovely, the room decor was a little off to our taste but nothing terrible. Really comfortable bed, and the smart TV had free access to Netflix and other streaming platforms. Receptionist nice. All in all we would be happy to return to this hotel, except for one huge unexpected issue: the room had no windows at all...

I loved it here. Such great value for money. It is decorated beautifully and I adored my room. The staff were really helpful and friendly, I needed help closing the windows and they came straight up to help me. The room was spacious and the bed was really comfy, I slept really well. I also loved the tea and coffee corner especially the coffee machine. My only advice would be that despite having instructions on how to use it it doesn't tell you to fill the side up with water so I spent about 15 mins trying to figure that out. Worth it though, as the hot chocolate was delicious. The bathroom was also gorgeous, the massive shower was to die for. I would recommend putting a shower cap in as I wanted to go under the massive rain like showerhead but didn't want to get my hair wet so I felt I lost a little of the experience. Just v small quibbles and they didn't affect my stay, I still had a wonderful time
