A peaceful site with fantastic potential and a good base to go to Tamworth and surrounding areas. Some of the roads are narrow as you approach the site. A couple of watch outs which need addressing (in my opinion) . Firstly the lane onto the site has some very deep pot holes which need driving through very carefully. Secondly the meadow grass is a good foot high and not suitable for tents and boarder line for your awning with the ground sheet floating which can be a trip hazard. The Elson disposal is in need of improving and the vegitation needs cutting back. However I am sure these are in hand. Otherwise a potentially lovely quiet site and our dog loves it.

Just spent a week here, what a sun trap. Peaceful, quiet and relaxed site. Went to sleep with the tawny owls and woke up to skylarks . As mobile data didn't work too well where we parked, it would have been handy to know what was accepted in the recycling bin.
