    Shame you can’t give zero stars. Awful communication, don’t care whatsoever for those they are working with. Force unreasonable payments, and when you can’t afford to pay, rather than listen to any efforts to try and pay, they just force it through legal action. Charged me an extra £5,000 when I was already in a position unable to pay. Send extortionate communication to an address they know I’m not at and then blame me for not responding. When they could have just sent an email. Do not trust. Awful in every way. Have left me in an absolute mess.

    Honest and professional. We have a mixture of minor and less minor issues which Clear have helped us to navigate, specifically a big roofing job which took what seemed like forever to get off the ground. We look forward to getting compliant and fixing more minor issues over the next few years.

    Not recommending! The service they provide is poor. The management people are focusing on collecting money from residents instead of providing good service. The residents needed to pay for updating the FIRE system while the company received money from the government instead to cover all the costs. The thing they are good at is lying to residents about service updates. They failed to repair a lift for more than a year because they waited for the insurance company to provide money instead of managing it themselves. They failed to repair the door system for weeks resulting in cars breaking into a secure carpark. THE WORSE SERVICE EVER!

    Clear Building management as managing agents hijacked our RTM, they don't care about leaseholders and their charges are excessive. They have made late payment fees an extra income stream. They will also try tricks to get you to pay to their personal bank account, even though RTM trust accounts are interest generating. Be careful and Beware of these guys !!!!

    After taking over, the first advice Clear Building Management gave us was that the previous agent (Ground Solutions) had under insured our block. We accepted this in good faith and unfortunately without question. Two years on, we found that we could easily get the same insurance for around £550 instead of the £1250 we were paying to Clear Building Management. Strongly recommend that you ask about this charge before you take them on. Also ask if they get more than one quote for repairs as we ended up paying way over the odds for relatively straightforward work. Additional Comments I am surprised that you have taken 9 months to respond to my review. Nevertheless it is now necessary for me to comment further to your incorrect information so that any potential clients are made aware. The RICS Surveyors were engaged by your predecessors Ground Solutions not yourselves, and they wrongly assumed that our block had wooden floors. (Being regulated by RICS doesn't stand for much if they can't even identify what a floor is made from).The floors are in fact, suspended concrete so the insurance cost should have been less without the fire risk of wooden floors.You are also incorrect in that you, Clear BM had a survey done to identify a shortfall in cover. A year later we have paid £690 for our buildings insurance, much less that the £1250 you and you broker charged us in 2020. Getting approval from your leaseholders before high overspending on repairs should be expected from any worthwhile agent. You are responsible for your leaseholders money. Finally, we are now paying less than half the management fee per unit per annum than you were charging us..

    Have had an issue with our intercom since December(2020). They have done nothing, kept me going round in circle. They have lost the due to care to residence within our block (majority elderly). Health a safety is a liability at the moment- they have no concern on the following. I have chased this up countless times. The company reps says one thing, do another. Phone rep say they get back to you. And simply forget. I have tried to speak to someone higher up within the company, they have never got back to me. All I’ve got is a generic email to request a call for FOA Ian Hollins. Adding, Ordered keys 5 months ago(same time as reporting the issue).And yes, still got nothing. Last update I got (first week of April) was that this would be posted today. Still waiting. Posting date (mid April 2021).

    Stay away from this management company if you can, Period. Incompetent, arrogant, and worst of all, squeeze flat owners to maximize their own profit but still is not able to provide basic service.

    Following discussion with Clear and on reflection, I accept that my previous review was harsh and more appropriately a criticism of the running of the Right to Manage Company (RTM) and not Clear Management itself. Clear Management have carried out the management of the property to good standard and I have no issues with the general maintenance of the property during a very turbulent time since acquiring our RTM. My 3 star score is based on communication. The RTM, I believe entitles all its members an equal say in the future running of the development and whilst I accept that powers are delegated to directors, those directors should be able to be held accountable. Clear allows contact to themselves via website, telephone, etc on an individual basis, but does not facilitate the sharing of ideas. At present Clear, unintentionally, acts as a barrier to access to the directors. This has led to resentment fairly or otherwise. I feel our development is a cautionary tale for those considering acquiring Their Right to Manage.
