I recently received a service, that in my opinion I feel I was overcharged for. I did not receive a written quote which was my fault for not asking and only agreeing verbally what I wanted (which has been disputed). I therefore feel that £650 for washing, drying and ironing was not a reasonable price when I usually pay up to £90 for a similar service, especially as it took over a week. I have spoken to Citizens advice, but as I had no written quote, there was nothing I could do except pay it and report this business to Trading Standards under the “Consumer Rights Act 2015 - Reasonable Price”.
