Went there yesterday for first time with a friend of mine. Very quiet and lovely place. Well maintained pegs( though the portaloo wasn't pleasant at all and I was wondering initially why people where using the bushes, though there was children around). The bailiffs was very friendly. As about fishing , well it's not easy water and certainly not one of them where you catching tiny carp all day long until you hate the bloody things. However there is decent fish and with some patience and the right bait you can have a very decent fishing trip. I got myself a decent bream and three lovely carps( a mirror at about 6lb, common at 8lb and another common 12lb). My friend got two carps between 6 and 7. However lots of the 20 or so people didn't catch anything. As I said it's not easy water. In short it's definitely worth it if you like the challenge but don't expect to catch a lot. However the fish is in really pristine condition - like they barely get caught, couldn't fault any of the fish we had and for a commercial fishery this alone is fab.
