I visited this care home to enquire about a stay for a relative. I was greeted by a very nice well presented receptionist Tahsena who was extremely helpful with the information she provided. A winning smile at the heart of the home, truly warming welcome! Definitely will be recommending this home to others in future!

Terrible place to work. The colleagues are rude to other workers in front of residents. One colleague really made me feel low and said some horrible things to me in front of a resident. She wanted me to dress the resident quickly (when you should never do that in case you hurt them) she wanted me to dress a resident on my own when the resident was prone to lash out and hit which i didnt feel comfortable doing on my own. So the colleague shouted at me and said i am lazy. No respect! They always underpaid me and i waited nearly 2 months to recieve my DBS, bearing in mind that is illegal i could have been anyone and i still was able to give personal care. As my DBS did not arrive a month later one of the managers decided to put me on PAID leave due to my DBS not arriving (it took them that long to notice) however the other managers and workers was not aware of this so when my DBS decided to arrive it was Declined! So i waited 2 months for it to decline. Since, they have not kept up with my Paid leave! And stopped putting me on shifts when i am contracted 44 hours a week. First of all before i started working they should have got my DBS out the way and in there hands but instead they get me working. They had no respect for the fact i have rent and bills to pay and other responsibilities. This job put me in such financial constraints. I would not recommend to work here at all! They dont care for there colleagues! Even until now i have complained to the manager and i had not received no reply or even a phone call to apologise for the months of a mess around.

I thought this care home would do what it's supposed to do and care for our mother. Instead they did not feed her properly or give her water, what anyone would class as basic care. A family member visited her, went to give her some water only to find her mouth full of unchewed food and her Parkinson tablets which have to be taken at regular times! 16 days in and my mum was taken out of there in an ambulance. She had pressure sores, leg ulcers, high temperature, low blood pressure and was extremely dehydrated. So dehydrated that at the hospital it was touch and go to whether or not they could get a drip in her. Our mum is now in hospital fighting for her life.
