I will only ever use Clapham Optical, they are comprehensive in their customer care, the examination is thorough and not rushed. When it comes to choosing a frame Nick already had some in mind for me, and independently I had been looking at the same. I have opted to take advantage of the "EyeCare" monthly payment which covers the costs of future eye tests, offers discounts on glasses purchased, and allows me to split the cost of glasses interest free. I have not heard of any other opticians offering anything similar, so this alone is a great reason to use Clapham Optical. I have my second pair of Etnia frames with Seiko lenses now, they have a fantastic anti glare coating that is the best I have ever had for night driving, and as a bonus feature they have a slight gold sheen to the lens that compliments the design of the Etnia Vintage frame. I will be going back for a second pair of Etnia as prescription sunglasses ready for Summer and Nick has offered to see if he can get some prescription lenses for a pair of Oakleys i already own. I really cannot fault the quality of the products supplied, and most importantly for me the customer service. For eye care i feel it is critical to have someone that you trust and who shows a high level of expertise.

Optometrist was absolutely lovely. Receptionist and the man who supposedly helps you select glasses were both rude, judgemental and grumpy. I wouldn't recommend purchasing glasses from here. Overpriced and poor customer service.

Absolutely outstanding. Great, friendly service, nothing too much trouble, a really thorough eye exam, great glasses and follow up for fitting. I even managed to damage one pair within a couple of weeks and they fixed it FOC - all 'part of the service'. New client for life !

Clapham Eyecare has become the benchmark by which I judge all other opticians. I am particularly fussy when it comes to my contact lenses and glasses, and after the family run opticians I had used since childhood was sold off to a high street chain, I was relunctantly forced to try a new optician. I struck third time lucky with Clapham! The customer service here is unparalleled, the staff are genuinely passionate about what they are doing and it makes a real difference. I wouldn't trust my eyes with anyone else.
