Went in to get ribs, son waited outside because of the smell. The woman behind the counter rolled her eyes at it. Looked at the meat...bluebottle flies all over everything. Told her that put me right off and left. She was rude and it was as if we had inconvenienced her by being there. Will NOT be using this place ever again. The ribs themselves looked far from fresh too.

Tried this butcher for the first time, bought a meat hamper on Friday. Once home & opened the cooler bag the smell was bad, I thought it could be from the different types of meat. However this morning I got the leg of lamb out of the fridge & the smell... Cooked it hoping the smell would go, the whole cooking time we kept on getting this horrible stink. I know lamb has a smell but not like milk going off. Un

1st time I visited I went in for some burger mince, asked for 20% fat and the women was so unhelpful and rude. Thought id give them another go as it might have been an off day so went in again a few weeks later for some steak, same woman and was so rude again! I was made to feel not wanted in there. I wont be visiting again which is a shame because it has so much potential. I've always been encouraged to go to a butchers over the supermarket to support small businesses and this level of customer service puts me off a bit. Steaks were actually quite fatty too (as a side note).

Besides a bad previous experience delicious flavours. And they do venison fillet as well as beef so venny welly at a bargain and my first attempt at both. Affordable and blow your mouth of Welsh dragon sausages are a favourite same as rosemary and garlic sausage. Mince is amazing value to the kilo and its always lean mince. Not fatty at all. Meat is local and farmed in Rowlands Castle. Flavoured chicken there's so much range and glad they make black and white pudding..
