Not pleased at all. I asked for an alteration to a dress. The final product was okay. Went back to show them a part of the dress I needed stitched together, showed them the concept & he proposed another way to close the slit. He charged me more to further alter it which I paid. Came back to collect the dress & the stitch wasn’t covered but rather a fluffy design attached. I complained that I wanted it covered & he proposed a way which did not work. He refused to work on it again unless charged again! Even after explaining to him this is not what I asked for. They are very pricey the only convenience is because they are in the city centre but I am highly disappointed because it was a birthday dress & i refuse to pay extra for a mistake they made. Seems like they like to extort people which is very unfortunate. I have paid over £50 still not satisfied with their work.

It is the second time they cut one of my trouser's legs more than the other. The first time I let it pass as I thought it wasn't a common mistake but, it is the second time now and It is very uncomfortable to walk with it. I can't get it fixed it as it is already cutted and I have to buy another pair of trousers. Unfortunately, I do not recommend for this type of service.

I have an expensive leather jacket, that I have had for years. The leather is really soft and high quality, but the inner lining was totally gone (ripped in two places). For sometime, I tried to find someone that could replace the entire inner lining, without success . Then, upon the recommendation of a friend, I visited City Tailoring and Alterations. I asked them to replace the inner lining, as well as replace the two wrist cuffs (as one was frayed at the edges and showing it’s age). I also took the inner lining I wanted them to use. I returned within a week and they did an excellent job. All the inner pockets and labels were exactly where they were previously and the new inner lining was done perfectly. The inner lining was done to such an expert standard, it was, as if it was the jacket’s original lining. I have no hesitation recommending them.

I gave 3 pairs of trousers to make them longer from the hem paying for this £36. And that is the result of their work. 1. The navy blue pair of trousers finished off with the black threat. 2. Black pair of trousers broken by careless removal of factory stitching. I would never call those services as in hands of professionals. Unfortunately I am very disappointed and angry
