Last year, City Roofing were halfway through some planned roofing work that had been delayed after a tile supplier had let us down. When Storm Arwen hit the unfinished roof, Peter turned out on the Saturday night to make temporary repairs of storm damage, then personally drove to Edinburgh on the Sunday morning to get tiles and complete the work quickly. Update - after two weeks. Didn't hear anything from this company following the initial survey and despite further emails and queries still no contact. Went to another company who could be bothered to provide a quote. Not impressed with the lack of follow up and quote from City Roofing following the initial contact. NOT A GOOD ADVERT for this company despite the very promising and professional looking website. Given the total lack of contact, One Star must be generous. How a company can expect to get work if they can't be bothered to provide a proper quotation is beyond me. Maybe we aren't a big enough job???? Would have been nice to be told however, then we wouldn't have wasted our valuable time in getting our roof repaired. Initial comment - FOUR STARS 🌟 Checking on suitable contractors to undertake roof work on the steading and bothy. Peter came round promptly, following an initial problem with their website contact and we await his quote.
