In 2021 this charity acquired over £1m in assets - although they have failed to show this in the appropriate annual accounts. Additionally £90k in Government Bounce Back Loans and Furlough grants have been taken, which were meant for Covid hit businesses. The recent refusal of a planning application for a huge building extension will be welcomed by the neighbourhood. The local community has been ignored and dis-respected throughout the process. Serious questions have been asked of the trustees which remain unanswered. Failing in its own core values when it is not even open on Sunday, Christmas Day!!

I have been at City Life Church since November 2019 and have been made to feel so welcome. It is a true church family; full of people who are fun loving, warm and compassionate. The worship is authentic and spirit led and the scripture based teaching is delivered with genuine sincerity and depth. The leadership is strong and the pastors shepherd their flock with integrity. This church is purpose driven, with clear vision. The love of God and the love of people is evident so I encourage you to come, just as you are, to meet with God in a safe, secure and loving environment. This is a place you can call home. I am excited as I put my roots down, because I am sure in the knowledge that I will be both able to water others and be watered myself. When the Son of Man comes, Will he find faith on the earth? (Luke 18:8). At City Life Church, yes definitely!
