The staff here are absolutely amazing. I take my daughter here for her treatment and Belinda and Charles have been really good with her. Despite her starting treatment at the young age of 5, their expertise means she is confidently wearing contact lenses, and overall her vision is much better. I can’t thank them enough, so happy to have found this place and I definitely recommend.

I went to City Eyes for Ortho-K as my 8-year-old son's short-sightedness was getting worse one and a half years ago. Charles designed the lenses, which was tailor-made for my son's eyes. We were very happy with the results and now my son's naked eyesight during the day is excellent. Charles is very experienced and he did the examination carefully and patiently. Every time we visit for a routine check, Charles and Belinda have been very kind and helpful, which we strongly appreciate. Would highly recommend for children's parents who are anxious about their children's eye-sight.

Charles advised me to do all the possible exams using all his machines (400 pounds), and at the end of all the exams, he advised me to do 2 sessions of Microblepharoexfoliation (229 pounds) and some other treatments for dry eyes. To check those results, I went to see another doctor in France, who gave me partly the same diagnostic and treatment for the dry eyes but said that the Microblepharoexfoliation was a very aggressive solution that is used only in extreme cases which did not apply to me. The doctor was also surprised because of some exams that were run at city eyes that are uncommon or not usually necessary to check for the symptoms I had. Additionally, based on the exams done by Charles in city eyes, the doctor found an issue that Charles did not mention to me that can potentially impact my vision if it gets worse. It seems that Charles advised me based on the money I could spend there, and more importantly, he did not mention an issue that could impact my vision. I do not recommend him.

I was visiting London from Singapore and my Ortho-K lenses broke. Regular glasses/daily lenses couldn't function as an adequate substitute as my cornea shape would keep changing in the days/weeks immedately pausing Ortho-K wear. I was quite distressed as I could not get help from my opthalmologist back in Singapore as I was too far away, and other opthalmologists I went to in London were unsure of how to help. Thankfully I found Dr. Babumba (and also coincidentally later found out that my opthalmologist in Singapore sends a lot of patients his way when they are visiting the UK) who was kind, professional, and extremely helpful. He knew what to do and selected the right treatments for me at the lowest cost possible. He was very thorough in his examination of my eyes and put me at ease. He really was a lifesaver on my trip. Thank you very much Dr. Babumba!

I went to City Eyes, since I experienced low vision a couple of months ago. When I visited, Charles conducted a range of tests on specialised machines, most of which I have not seen before, despite having been to multiple opticians before. Meanwhile, he was very friendly and listened to all of my concerns, answering in detail. The detailed tests were really worth it, since they definitively showed that I do not have a genetic eye problem which could have appeared in me. On my next visit, I decided to move to using lenses instead of glasses and Charles spent nearly an hour, helping me to put a demo pair of lenses on. While I am terrible at putting lenses, he was super patient and kind, encouraging me until we got the job done. Overall, I had a great experience and sincerely recomment City Eyes!

I have been going to City Eyes since 2018 and I have always been provided with a flawless service. An impressive plethora of high tech equipment was used during my comprehensive eye examination. As an anxious patient, Charles and Belinda have never failed to make me feel at ease and always take the time to explain in detail what they are doing. The rest of the team are always going above and beyond to provide a great experience. I couldn't recommend City Eyes more!
