Highly recommended! Chris @citydogwalkers provides an excellent dog walking service. I really appreciate his professional knowledge on all things DOG, like training, behaviour, psychology. I really like that Chris doesn’t take too many dogs walking at the same time, he really evaluates the individual dog personality and needs. I know that when I’m leaving my darling baby Lee Fox with him that he is in great hands, safe and having fun. And the icing on the cake is that Chris really loves dogs and both myself and my beloved hound boy Leroy adore him!

Working with Chris completely transformed my experience of walking my dog, from stressful to pleasurable! I had quite a reactive dog, always on high alert, especially around other dogs, which meant he usually lunged at any nearby dog. Chris helped to train him (at the time he didn't really know any basic commands), but more importantly Chris gave me the skills to understand and manage him better, which the dog really needed to make his own outdoor experiences better! I had to learn what my dog was saying with his behaviour and how to respond to that behaviour to relieve him of the stress he was feeling - Chris basically trained me, which was the key - giving me the confidence I needed. It has taken time and training to make him feel more comfortable around dogs and it paid off - for the first time in years, I watched him running around a park playing with another dog, amazing!!! And it would not have been possible without Chris and the invaluable sessions he provided. I highly recommend CDWs and Chris. Going for a walk is better for both of us now.

We used CDW to get some help with our 7 month cockapoo Della , who was a lovable thing but a complete pain in the neck in hindsight! We did 5 training sessions over a 6 week period , to help with maintaining discipline and boundaries at home initially. However in the final sessions we could see how all the stuff we’d been practicing suddenly made everything click obedience-wise when we went outside . A peaceful family lunch at last ! 😂 The training walks Bella had from CDW also worked wonders and really took the pressure off . We were able to have fun as a family and more importantly bond with our dog and understand her needs which made for happier lives all round ! Would highly recommend!

City Dog Walkers are a great company. I’ve used them since my dog was a puppy and have always been very happy with their professional and reliable approach. They always respect the requirements for my dog and take good care of him in the same way I would, so I feel at complete ease whenever I leave my dog in their hands. Their handling and training skills are very impressive as they manage dogs in a way that keeps them happy and well behaved. It’s the only dog service that I would 100% recommend to others as it’s great on all accounts! 5 Star service!!

City Dog Walkers have walked our dog Darcy on weekdays for eight months now and counting, and they are fantastic. Our pooch always comes back happy and tired, and usually falls straight to sleep after! We have also had some training sessions with Chris from CDW and we've noticed a night and day improvement in our dog's behaviour. Darcy used to be such a handful, but after a few sessions now he is way calmer at home, plays nicely with other dogs at the park, hardly ever jumps up on people anymore, his recall is excellent - all thanks to Chris's work! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to address some problem behaviours in their dog or just to get their pooch some exercise during the workday.

I was looking for a professional and trustworthy dog walker to help me take care of my 14 year old Golden Retriever and have been so lucky to find City Dog walkers. Not only can I trust them to make sure Muji is in good hands but I know he also gets the extra attention he needs at his age. They makes sure to give Muji just the right amount of excercise depending on his energy level, always checking in with me if they notice anything out of the ordinary and help him set reminders of basic commands that he finds harder to see and hear. When I voice any concerns they always make me feel reassured they will take extra care on that day and it is such a relief to have this level of trust with someone. Can’t recommend them highly enough for any young and old dogs in town who like a good play but also look for a calm and structured walker.
