Strongly advise to avoid this place, booked our dog in for a holiday after reading such great reviews. Sent 50% of the deposit and was asked when we could do a meet and greet day. After replying with dates I heard nothing for a week so decided to cancel (with 2 months notice).. I did this on my online account, also messaged them to let them know. After 6 days they replied ‘hi sorry only just getting back to you’ and then nothing else… I asked what happened about a refund or even partial refund as I understand there is sometimes a charge. I got a reply from them advising its credit on my account and it can be rearranged with this credit, and if I had requested a cancellation I would get 75% of this back. I advised them it was a cancellation I requested online which I have proof of and also advised it was a cancellation in the message. Since then I’ve tried phoning and messaging and their number is disconnected or they have blocked me. My partner has also tried phoning and messaging and got nowhere. Either this place is a scam or they’re doing people out of money. I’m now going to dispute this with my bank and take this further to ensure nobody else makes the same mistake as me. AVOID !!!!

Pablo had an amazing time at City Dog! It was his first time ever staying at someone else’s home but they made him as comfortable as possible. We was kept updated throughout our weekend and sent lovely pictures of Pablo enjoying himself and playing with other doggy friends. We will definitely be using City Dog again. They also went above and beyond giving us tips and advice, also allowed us to trial out a harness to see if it would help Pablo on his walks. Can’t recommend enough.

Great service, Nick was attentive and genuinely cared about our dog, sending us regular updates and photos/ videos. The biggest thing I took away from our first visit was being told “your dog will never leave with any habits they didn’t come in with” and that was spot on!

Highly recommend!! Our dog Skye stayed overnight and was very well looked after and settled in quickly. Kept me updated on how she was and pictures on the walk etc. Will definitely be booking again!

Nick took great care of our 6-month Cockapoo puppy, Ralph over the busy Christmas period. He was flexible with drop off and pick up times and arranged a meet and greet beforehand to make sure Ralph was comfortable. Nick provided regular updates which put at us ease as it was his first time away from us. Nick provided great advice for future training and diet which we appreciated and have taken on board.

Leo has stopped with Nick and Percy tonnes of times now. He always comes home chilled out and happy. Nick takes Leo for loads of walks and keeps us posted with loads of photos and videos. Nick really looked after Leo when he wasn't well while we were on holiday, took him to the vets and nursed him better until we got home
