We had a introduction session with Dan as neither of us had climbed before. He was enthusiastic and really good at adapting his approach based on our different abilities; he was essentially doing two different sessions as my partner seemed to progress quickly whereas I was less of a natural to say the least. Dan managed to do encourage us both to challenge ourselves but without making me feel rubbish for not being as good. Dan was really encouraging and by the end I was keen to keep trying to finish routes that I hadn't been able to before.
