Car was bought 3 years ago from this dealer Car developed major engine fault through bad build man ship brought back to gates and was basically told nah sorry can’t help you as only had one service documentation provided And was told a rough cost of 2000 pounds to fix before any diagnostics or check had been performed ! And was told to contact Citroen direct ! After 4 months or arguing and complaining Citroen instructed rates to get the car in and lo and behold ! Needs a new complete engine due to a common know fault with the plastic on the c3 breaking down and blocking engine oil then it took 1 month more to get Citroen to agree through goodwill 🤣😳 to replace the whole engine at a cost of over 5 grand ! Then it took nigh on three months to get it sorted with hardly any commnunication In fairness the parts prob took that long so it is what it is and in the end it has been resolved but from my experience of this garage and the route I have had to take to get this fixed ! And the Insult of when I picked it up to be told well it’s goodwill they fixed it as it’s out of warranty ! Erm no Love sorry your car was duff and built cheaply and broke down ! It leads me to believe how many other poor people have had this isssue and not been as luck as me to get it sorted and have paid thousands to get this fixed I would never use this dealer again nor would I buy a Citroen car

I took my Mum to find a new car and we stopped in at Tates to have a look. We were met by Jarred and quickly found a used C3. Jarred was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. The staff at Tates were great. They were all very friendly and helpful. Mum bought the car. Upon collection the car has been well prepared and Mum recieved a thorough explanation of the electronics. I would recommend Tates and would like to especially thank Jarred for his help.
