Getting in touch with them is a problem which is why I've only rated them 3 stars; you have the impression that help will be offered but then you cannot get it. I suppose that is understandable as no doubt their resources are not unlimited. I first of all composed an email which I wanted to send to Citizens Advice Bureau but it turns out you cannot contact Sevenoaks C.A.B. by email; the email address I had found was provided incorrectly by, I think, a Kent County Council website. I think at some time in the past you could send an email to C.A.B. however when I tried to send mine it was returned as undeliverable so that was rather frustrating. I have made 4 or 5 phone calls to them, since just before the 4 day Platinum Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend but have not had any success getting through. Perhaps I have to stay on the line for longer than the 15 minutes I've waited most times I've tried so far. Their phone message says "Our advisers are not available right now" but I cannot tell if this means that my call will not be answered today or if I should keep waiting to speak to an adviser. A pre recorded telephone message gives lots of advice saying how to use their website which I've done but the answer to what I want to know is not there - as far as I can find out. Also, out of the options given to choose from on their phone menu I was not sure if there was one I could choose with the adviser not being available. Actually, I have used Sevenoaks C.A.B. before. Most recently, around a couple of years ago. The person who advised me then gave me some good helpful advice.

These people did help me a lot in summer 2015. I still remember that case and am very very grateful. That was my first year in this country and I was trying to rent an apartment. The person who was supposed to be my next landlord took deposit (what was a big money) but didnt let me in the flat. I went to Sevenoaks CAB and there did serve me one tall,a bit grey english man. He was extremely helpful and professional. He was doing his job with passion and genuine desire to help. He did call to dodgy landlord, he gave me many advices and after all I got back my money until last penny. Thank you indeed.
