I went to the citizens advice in Romford library on the 10-01-2023 as I needed a food bank voucher to help with me out for a few days until I started my new job. The staff that I dealt with couldn't have been been more helpful, especially Leanne who bent over backwards to help me and make sure that I had food and treated me with respect and empathy at all times, I can't thank her/them enough, thanks again, Aidan.

Wrote to these people for help on behalf of someone, only wanted general advice and was told if the person it concerned didn't write email themselves then they wouldn't help, good thing actually as I happened to find someone genuine that would help. Try phoning them their system is designed to be as awkward as possible, If you don't want to help those in need please don't pretend your helping if you dont really care.

You queue up well before 9am but only the first 6 gets selected. One person came in 3 times and could not be helped. One volunteer saw an asian person and automatically asked if she needed immigration advice. How presumptuous or rude is that. Disappointed, wont go there again.
