Very helpful and caring staff. I would like to say thank you to Connie who was very thorough with my case. She asked a lot of questions to best understand my situation and she took time to really read through all the documents I sent before giving me advice. I felt she genuinely cared about what I went through and I wasn't just part of the job or a to-do list.

The Tottenham Citizen Advice Bureau members of the team are hard working honest and helpful people. Thanks to the team. However, the biggest concern is the telephone calls. I contacted with CAB main swivh board FOUR times so far in a week and each time I waited between 45 to 49 minutes on the phone. There must be a reason for that LONG waiting time such as reducing the number of people receiving support from CAB.

Awful service. I waited on the phone for 53 minutes for only to be put on hold again. After another 5 minutes of waiting and a total of 63 minutes of being on the phone, the member of staff named Barbara told me they could not help me and hung up abruptly.

The staff here do not possess any knowledge I only wonder how they up to giving legal advice. They’re quite rude and arrogant. Seems like they’ve been given a basic template to speak and they don’t have any real knowledge or skill to address real problems. Tbh the consumer law system in the UK is quite a sham in the hands of organisations such as Citizens Advice.

I rang about how to get help with a housing transfer due to harassment and then no action from Sheltered Housing. I was not given help for a more than one-pronged approach -request for medical review- plus given WRONG info (sent a useless general link and once again I had trouble on the Camden website which is why I rang CAB in the first place) about requesting medical review. I had to ring the Council a day later (long wait) to get someone to block my attempt based on CAB wrong instruction and then I was told what I needed to (email to Camden allocations to request a medical review) Plus he said he had talked too long already so didn't help with any other possible approaches. Gone it seems are the days when I used to get expert personalised advice from CAB.
