Pointless visit. Couldn’t help me and I’ve since learned that they’re affiliated with the government company I’ve had a problem with.which explained their reluctancy to assist me with my problem.

I just wanted to extend my gratitude for all the amazing help I was given at the Cranbrook Citizens advice bureau. I underwent multiple surgeries and was left in a very bad position both physically and emotionally. All my benefits were cut and I was told to return to work despite the severe nature of my wounds and the lack of recovery after operations. As it turned out, i went under the knife again within a few weeks of that poor decision. I was totally wiped out from the medication and just could not piece together enough to try and fight my own corner. I saw a wonderful lady called Alison on a couple of occasions, and she was so friendly, reassuring and professional throughout. I found her patience and understanding to be an absolutely invaluable support structure and actually gave me the sense that someone was really on my side. My appeal letter has just come through with the decision going in my favour, which is amazing news. I wouldn't have been able to do it without the support of the Cranbrook Citizens Advice Team and I am forever grateful that they are there for people in need, like I was. The care is so thorough that I even received a very pleasant call today from Annik from the same office, informing me of the positive decision. Just in case I had not received correspondence myself! I can't thank everyone there enough for all their help. The work they do is amazing and the fact they do it as volunteers makes it even more special. If you are struggling and need support, there is real help available through the Cranbrook team. Kind regards, Nick
