    Our journey started with our Border Collie that was terrified of low bass loud noises, ranging from a car boots slamming, to crow scarers and obliviously fireworks also and dustbin lids, after having 3 x one to one training sessions with James at TheDogsWay, the change in or dog is immense. Certainly not cured but massively changed in respect of his ability to cope when he is challenged. The tools that James has provided us with and generally the way that we now see thing from our dog point of view. I would definitely recommend booking in, if your furry friends are suffering with any issues. Thank you James your advice and tools that you provided have made a huge difference in our day to day lives.

    Had my first one to one training session with James yesterday. Finn and I learned more than we thought we new. Finn is my 5th border collie and a real live wire very anxious and reactive. James taught me lots of useful tools to use to help Finn and i I continue our journey together. I would definitely recommend this training plan and it's worth every penny. I came away from the session feeling I've got the best collie in the world that's thanks to James building our (probably mine mostly) confidence.

    110% recommend James. We’re new puppy owners and James spent a good two hours with us today focusing on walking outside, lead training and aggression/biting. Within 5 minutes of James entering the room, our puppy was like a different dog. Completely obedient and the biting stopped really quickly. James was lovely and we had a fantastic time and laugh with him. He was extremely calm and gentle towards our dog which was a concern as we knew a few dog trainers who take the harsher approach. If you have a puppy or have any dog issues, don’t even think twice about booking James. This evening was the best evening we had, extremely controlled and relaxed after 3 weeks of teething and biting.

    Visited James once with my dog Ruby who refused to go on walks, he spent a couple of hours with us walking her on a figure of eight lead. We went home and bought one and now we walk multiple times a day without her refusing to go, she’s happy, stopped pulling, has a wiggle in her walk and her tail never stops wagging. I can’t praise and thank him enough but not just for getting Ruby enjoying walks but for all the other advice he gives if you message him and ask.     We've been working with James since before we adopted our 2 year old cross Cosmo. He came to us with reactivity towards people and dogs. We got in touch with James to find how best to introduce Cosmo into our home. Since then we have been working with him on Cosmo's reactivity issues. Four months on and we can now walk Cosmo past most people within 2 meters with little to no reaction. When we first adopted we couldn't be within eyesight of another person. We still have a long way to go but I'm sure we'll get him there. James has been amazing throughout the whole process. He's helped us learn how to manage Cosmo and show him how to behave when something stresses him out. I would whole heartedly recommend getting in touch asap if you have issues or are thinking of adopting for the first time. Odds are you'll learn just as much as your pup will.
