Fab chips!! Really nice fish. Wasn't keen on the curry sauce - my bad for asking for "spicy"! You have been warned! Lovely people, a lot of the customers were obviously regulars, lots of friendly chat. Proper Old Skool chippy - recommended. Vegetarian options: Veggie pies, burgers and jacket tatties available. I think the veggie sides are cooked in friers with circulating oil filters, so not strictly veggie, but do ask. Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids in, very excited for their chippy tea! Kids' menu available.

This local family run Chipshop is by far the best for both quality and price. We have been going now several times on a weekly basis and the standards are always top draw. Service with a smile everytime as they sell their amazing food. It's never greasy and always satisfying. I can't recommend the lunchtime special enough.....only £5, which consists of Chips with either any pie,(Steak and ale addiontional 50p, but more than worth it), sausage or beautiful fish and a choice of either peas, gravy or curry/spicy curry sauce AND a drink ! Think theres a few other items aswell available as part of the deal. Myself and my colleague travel 5+ miles past many other Chipshops to attend our plaice of Worship.....keep up the great work guys. Brian Splash and Wayne.

I’m from Blackpool and been struggling to find a decent chippy around anywhere near me. Discovered this gem round the corner from my work. Excellent food. A proper local British chip shop. High praise.
