Wednesday 24th May after reading some great reviews and looking at the menu we went to the restaurant at 6 pm and stood waiting by the bar for nearly 5 minutes and nobody around. A minute or 2 later 4 other guests arrived. Still no one came to attend to us, so we walked out all 6 covers. That showed exactly what sort of service we would have received. If 0 stars was an option that what I would have given.

I purchased the fish curry with pilaw rice as a takeaway. I wasn't able to eat the meal for many hours as I was travelling back home. Reheated this was a surprisingly good dish; full of curry leaves, coconut milk and tamarind flavours. If you're after an authentic Indian taste and don't mind waiting a little extra time, this is for you. The best I've tried on the IoW.

Found this new Sri Lankan restaurant in Ryde and was excited to try the Masala Dosa's, which we have had before in another establishment (Crawley). We started with the Ulunthu Vada's. Delicious spicy dounuts and dips. The Dosa's looked promising, we're crispy, huge and freshly made. The Dosa Spicy Potato filling and accompanying sides were delicious. Unfortunately the actual Dosa was too thick and had an oily after taste. I sadly was only able to eat the middle with the filling as the sides were too oily for my taste. Dad felt the same too, (also a Dosa fan). Still giving 4 stars though as the service was friendly and prompt. Lots of other choice on the menu so would visit again, maybe to try something different. The Chef maybe just needs to tweak the Dosa Recipe and cooking method, to make it lighter and less oliy, as other reviews have said the same. Due to the friendly service and plentiful choices on the menu still happy to recommend.

Understaffed restaurant, meant long wait even to have got water after 30 mins. Food came after more than 1 hour after ordering even though we were told it would be 30-40 mins. So we got our food 1.5 hours after coming to restaurant. Staff was inexperienced. Food was below average at best. Won’t go again.

Do not eat here. It's the worst food, unprofessional people and long waiting time. Never ever I will eat here. Wish I could have given zero star.
