I found CHS health care on Google after desperately trying to find the right care home for my mum. It was so distressing because each one we would pick to look at didn't have any vacancies and the ones that did were not very nice at all which made it all the more upsetting. From emailing them a lovely lady named Sarah Amison got in touch with me very quickly and put my mind at ease straight away as she was so caring. She sent me a list of all the care homes with availability in our area which took all the stress of looking and contacting to be told they had no vacancies away. She has helped us to find mum the most amazing place which has given us so much peace of mind. She has constantly checked in and got straight back to me if I had any queries and made the whole process feel like a huge weight has lifted from us. Cherele at CHS Healthcare was AMAZING, and EXTREMELY HELPFUL. We needed to sort out live-in care for our 93 year old Mum, who was medically fit to be discharged from Hospital. Mum lives on her own, and is not able to look after herself. Cherele took all the stress and worry from us, and was able to sort out the live-in care really quickly. What an invaluable service CHS provide. We were trying to find a care home for our Mum and because she was self funded no one would help us. We wanted to make sure we found her a place which suited her needs so we did not have to move her again. Bernadette was so helpful and understanding from the very beginning. She did all the hard work for us, ringing round all the homes local to us to see if they could meet our Mum's needs and had space. She organised visits for us and corresponded with the homes on our behalf. Our Mum is now safe in a fantastic home which suits her needs very well as a result of all Bernadette's hard work. Having used the excellent services of CHC previously to source respite care, I turned to this valuable organisation once again to secure nursing dementure care for my father. His physical and mental health had unexpectedly and rapidly deteriorated over a short time, which devastated our family. Following a hospital stay, it was proving difficult to find a nursing home that could accommodate my father's high dependency needs. I was delighted that Amanda was assigned to my case once again and she quickly liaised with and shortlisted potential homes, taking on much of the legwork and phone calls required. Amanda kept in close telephone contact throughout the process and was always a positive source of support at a very difficult time. She seemed to know exactly when to call and what to say to provide reassurance. My father has now moved into a care home local to where we live, which oddly I was not even aware of before Amanda mentioned it. I am extremely grateful to have benefitted from Amanda's support and for the vital, professional service that CHS offer to people at what is a stressful, difficult decision-making time for their loved ones. Thank you again Amanda and CHS and very best wishes for the future.
