Sent ChromeFix a photo and all measurements for 2 coffee table legs requiring chrome plating and was quoted £85 per leg. I accepted the quote and arranged for them to collect them using their own courier. When told the legs were 18kg each they said that would affect the price and would have to requote as they'd be heavier for their guys to lift so more work :D. Same legs and measurements as photos, same surface area, same amount of chrome plating. They requoted at £245 per leg lol. A £320 premium because they're heavier than he thought. Fortunately getting them done elsewhere now with a company who's lads have had their Weetabix ;) but ChromeFix was a complete waste of my time.
