What a fantastic business. My youngest sons glasses broke after 6 months (3yr old child so not surprising!), I took them into Christopher Nixon’s and the chap asked if he had a spare pair, to which I said no, he then found a matching pair on display and took the required part off those and fitted it within an hour so that the glasses could be used. Good old fashioned customer service 👍🏻 You don’t get many people being so kind and thoughtful, going the extra mile these days and these guys are leading the pack. Thanks so much to the team there.

I have been going to Christopher Nixon's for probably more than 30years and although moving to London, I still come to Harrogate to see Christopher as he gives so much time and explains everything and is very experienced and I trust him completely. Because of lockdown I had an eye test at one of the high street opticians in London and was very disappointed and it just confirmed to me how brilliant Christopher Nixons are. I shall be back there as soon as restrictions allow.

After managing to get some bits of chisel embedded in my right eye after an enthusiastic gardening moment during lockdown (very stupidly wore no goggles) I was sent via 111 to Chris Nixons. Chris was fantastic, all appropriate PPE in place, Chris calmly and reassuringly removed the bits of chisel, and I experienced no pain whatsoever during the process. He explained the entire process as we went along and I knew I was in very capable, trustworthy hands. Thank you Chris, valuable lesson learnt for me and I know where I'll be going for my next eye test! Lisa Francis
