My wife and I attended a group tour in London with Ben Virgo and Christian Heritage London on 3/24/2023. The tour was the highlight of our trip to Europe. Ben is not only knowledgable, but delivers information in a captivating way, all the while, delivering the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those present with extreme clarity and effectiveness. The sites we visited were incredible in their historical significance, and the stories shared detailing the people that made those places significant, even more awe inspiring. At the British Museum we were shown multiple artifacts with direct links to the Bible. It was hard to leave the tour. I will go out of my way to spend more time learning from material produced by Mr. Virgo and hope to join him on another tour in the future. Five stars.

Holy Land Trip with Christian Heritage London-October 2022 The success of a project comes with attention to the smallest of details. Christian Heritage London is the master of details, making our Holy Land Pilgrimage a memorable trip of a lifetime. After several London tours with CHL, we decided to travel to Israel in October. We joined a group from Christ Church Chorleywood along with another American family and several other British families. It’s hard to describe the amazing experience of journeying through the Holy Land and beholding what I had read about for years in the Bible. It truly did become alive. And even though, most of us began as strangers, the trip knit our hearts together as we received Bible centered teaching from Cannon David Hall, historical foundations from Christian local guide Raed Makhouli, and amazing worship led by Dr. Noel Tredinnick. To start our day with a psalm of Ascent and end it with worship made for a perfect day. I can’t imagine how much time went into planning, but Peter and Ilona Greylings’ twenty years of experience were evident. Everything went so smoothly. There are several things in hindsight that I especially appreciated. I am thankful that the group size was quite manageable. We saw many groups that were much larger which probably came with added challenges. I also appreciate their expertise in even the small things like the timing of lunch, so that we would be ahead of THE CROWDS and make good use of our time. Their intentionality was evident even in their support of Christian restaurants and shops when possible. Every morning, Ilona would tell us where the clean/ideal toilet stops would be throughout the day. Did I mention they were knowledgeable about the DETAILS? Thank you Christian Heritage for allowing me to experience the Bible with all my senses, which has created a deeper level of thankfulness for my Lord, Jesus.

Our group had a wonderful day in London with Christian Heritage London learning more about the amazing church history in this great city. Ben is not just a “tour guide” but is a fantastic story teller that makes you feel as if you are right there walking the streets of London with Wesley, Whitefield, Newton and Tyndale among others. The trip will also take you to the British museum which is spectacular. I would highly recommend this to anyone traveling in London.

We went on this tour with our 3 kids aged 11, 9 and 8 and highly recommend it! The first part is a walking tour where you visit places associated with men whom God used to impact London in incredible ways. The stories of these men are amazing in themselves but our guide Ben was an amazing story teller and engaged all of us. He knew so much but humbly gave us all the accounts of these men's lives in a story telling way that made you feel like you were in those times. Ben did a great job telling the stories but His focus was on what God did. The second part was the British Museum tour where we looked at around 14 items associated with the Bible. This was interesting for the adults in our group and Ben did a great job telling the story and focusing on God. Our kids were not as interested in this part and the museum was fairly crowded. My suggestion to families with elementary aged kids is to do the first part with the group and possibly skip the museum part if your kids have had too long of a long day. I think it would have been helpful for my kids if we had researched some of the Bible artifacts at the museum beforehand and prepped them a little better. So, go on this tour and be encouraged by how God has been working in people's lives for generations and how He can use you, too.

If the rich Christian history of London is of interest to you, or you are just curious about it, you could absolutely not spend time with any group and learn more than taking this walking tour. We spent most of a day with Ben Virgo walking London & the British Museum asking questions & being blown-away with all that we learned. This was our 1st trip to London, but won’t be our last. At the top of our list will be a second session with Ben & their team!
