Very bad nursery or playgroup. The manager lied about our child behaviour while mum was present. This causes problem everywhere our child been attending and blocked our refund for 2 weeks until we informed our solicitor.

They have worked wonders with our daughter who was desperately unhappy at an expensive yet not very nurturing Montessori nursery but has thrived in the caring, happy, close-knit environment at Christ Church. I could not speak any more highly of the people that run it. We hope to send our boy there too.

A wonderful atmosphere and small community feel. A lovely place for little people to take their first steps towards making friends and learning important social, verbal and learning skills through play.

Both my children have attended this playgroup - my son is still in his first year. It's just brilliant. The care and attention the staff put into the children and the sense of community with the other parents is just fantastic. I'm certain my daughter's happiness in her first year at school has been founded on the calm, loving and educationally stimulating atmosphere created by this very special place.

I was a bit nervous about sending our son to playgroup, but from the moment I met Josie I knew Christchurch was right for us. The staff have years of experience, loads of creativity, enthusiasm for anything that the kids enjoy (like the hundredth conker of the season, or playing Paw patrol AGAIN), and a real love for the children. Our cautious boy was encouraged, gently challenged and prepared well for school: our whirlwind girl was accepted and patiently taught the skills she needed for nursery. It was reassuring and helpful to have plenty of feedback and involvement. Finally, we loved the community and real friendships we found among the parents. Very highly recommended!
