I currently work for choices and have done for 2 years now after being tuped over from my previous company , I absolutely love my job and I am very proud to work for choices homecare, I know from first hand experience with other care companies that choices homecare is an excellent company to work for , staff are treated as valued members of a team , we are not overloaded with calls , and staff are so well looked after and only have to ask management if we have a problem and are not able to work a shift and it is sorted ,when I am asked if I can help out with extra shifts if I can’t that is not a problem and i am not made to feel bad for not been able to , but anytime I can help I do because the company are so good to us . All staff are very well trained to a very high standard with on going training for all members of staff , I know that when the time comes for my parents to have carers choices is the only company I would want to care for them , simply because I know they will be cared for by other carers as if they were their own parents and I would fully trust them to deliver care as if it was me caring for them . I will always be working at choices until my retirement because I cannot praise all the staff enough , from my managers to trainers to us carers , I absolutely love working here

Part of the staff team have also been with Choices for some years and are a brilliant caring team that will go the extra mile to ensure Service User's have the best possible care and support. Optimo who own Choices have excellent resources and training for all their staff and promotion is always encouraged which strengthens the team of such caring committed excellent staff.

I have worked for this company for over 2 years and I can honestly say it is the best in the area. You are treated like a staff member, and not a number. You are not overloaded with work, and management are extremely supportive and are always there if you need anything whatsoever. The training is very thorough and there is nothing you are left unsure of, and if you need any support it is always there. I cannot see myself ever leaving this company, and I know many staff feel the same.

The admin staff don't take any notice whatsoever of the wishes of their clients. All attempts to contact them for information have been ignored and our complaint has been outstanding since March. An uterly rude and unprofessional company, someone nearly died as a result of these people and they haven't given any indication that they care at all.
