Horrible Learning environment, waste of time and poor education standards. You might as well be digging your children's grave by sending them here. Teachers are rude and unreasonable. Senior Team is horrible at making proper judgements and don't take students opinions and thoughts in mind when making decisions.

Very unhappy with this school. Always changing teachers, lousy curriculum, the English department is the only one with proper management and teachers. Science and Maths are suffering with teacher not well prepared for the job. The department for children with disabilities (physical or mental like Autism) is a joke. They are repeating the same questions since my son entered on Year 7, and pointing the same problems (most them I told them and tried to show how to solve it) but never came with an excellent proposition to help. It's all bureaucratic. My son was bullied, robbed, and the school did nothing. He is frequently assaulted with words and sometimes physically. For someone who has difficulties with social relationships, the school did not provide the best environment. Most teachers just don't give any importance to kids; they are concerned about the school evaluation. In fact, is all about the OFSTED. The kids are irrelevant. The constant 'detention' punishment seems more like a way to get the challenge kids out of the class. Another policy they choose to put all kids with difference together. Like creating a classroom for losers. It's demotivating, and prejudice against kids who did not develop their abilities in the same paces the others. The culture where if your grades a low is because you are not hardworking is impregnated in the school. This makes disadvantage kids a target to bullying or just abandonment by the teachers. The board of governors are like a box; only the chosen are allowed to participate. They changed the headteacher, and the school policies to make their kids the stars, letting all other out. It's a school, like most of UK schools, where only the children capable of doing how and what the teacher says is welcomed. It's not a leader former, but a place to training to obedience. We are not changing from this school because my son is going to the Year 11 next year, and he prefers stay because now he has one friend there. It's sad sees your child being underestimated, underrated, and considered a burden to the school. My son had private tutor, I can homeschooling him, but and the other who parents have to work all day, and or can't or don't have the knowledge to help their children? I am very disappointed with the UK educational system were grades are a measure of quality not the result from a good work. We need more young people managing the Education here, with a more open vision what the future will be, and what skills our children will need. The Industrial Revolution is over, The technology revolution is over. The Information Revolution is over, we are facing the fourth revolution where AR - Augment Reality, VR - Virtual Reality, and AI - Artificial Intelligence are here to stay. We need creative persons, people capable to work with this technology and other people. Ideas, we need ideas.
