Just received a phone call from a guy to tell me i didn't win the competition but they wanted my bank details so that I could get a £10 photoshoot that's apparently refundable on arrival. Kept pushing me about a payment and I almost fell for it but i had a bad scam feeling so I asked him if hes got a websight with reviews I can see as I dont want to be giving my bank details out over the phone . He started stuttering and confessed to a few bad reviews. Told me he would email me the payment link which he hasn't I'm guessing he knows I have now seen the reviews and wont be bothering + deffinately wont be giving then my bank details

I was really nervous about doing my photoshoot but the team made me feel really comfortable. I loved the hair and make up and really enjoyed the shoot. Unfortunately the end really spoiled the experience for me though when I was made aware that I needed to select the photos I wanted there and then and would not be able to take any time to decide. I have done a number of shoots before in the last 10 years and it has always been standard that after the shoot I would be emailed a link to access a library of the photos (all watermarked of course) so that I could take my time to make a choice on the ones I wanted. That was what I was expected here. This was for a gift for my fiance and not a decision I wanted to rush. And I really was in a rush because they were running behind when I got there and they weren't ready to show me the photos until the time I had been expecting to be leaving on the basis of the "up to 4 hours" appointment time. They knew I had to leave yet still made it clear that I had to decide there and then if I wanted any of the photos and exactly which ones I wanted because I wouldn't be able to decided later. I would also much rather have gone through the photos in private and at my own pace, rather than with what was effectively a salesman sat with me telling me how amazing all of the photos looked. I ended up getting the package which included every photo just because I didn't have the time to make a proper decision. My options felt like they were to get them all or to leave empty handed. I did not want to spend that much money at all and had I been able to go away and work out which ones I wanted (like I could have with any other studio) I would have narrowed them down to just the pictures I needed which would have cost me substantially less. I 100% would not have spent what I did if not for that environment and I want to make sure people are aware up front that this is the way they operate. To the company: if this is a choice you make for your operational model then you need to be clear up front so that people can make an informed decision on whether to use you over others who would provide the time. They would also then be able to build the time into their schedule to make the decision. I absolutely would not have booked for the time I did, knowing I had to be somewhere afterwards, had I known I would have had to make a decision on the spot.
